इभा गिरी भन्नेबित्तिकै धेरैलाई उनको नृत्य वा ग्ल्यामरस लुक याद आउँछ। बोल्ड पहिरनका कारण उनी बढी चर्चामा रहने गरेकी छन्। तर अब ‘पाँच पाण्डव’ फिल्ममार्फत उनी आफ्नो चिनिएको छविभन्दा बिल्कुलै फरक रूपमा देखिँदैछिन्।
मंगलबार सार्वजनिक पोस्टरमा इभा द्रौपदीको भूमिकामा छिन्। रातो कट ब्लाउज र रातै साडीको उनको लुकले महाभारतकी द्रौपदीको झल्को दिन्छ। पृष्ठभूमिमा पाँच पाण्डव (हरिवंश आचार्य, जितु नेपाल, आर्यन सिग्देल, महेश त्रिपाठी र सुशील सिटौला) देखिन्छन्। यसले फिल्मको कथा महाभारतबाट प्रेरित भएको संकेत गर्छ।
वसन्त निरौलाले निर्देशन गरेको फिल्ममा दीपाश्री निरौला, सरिता गिरी, विनोद न्यौपाने, रमा थपलिया, प्रशान्त ताम्राकार र सिता न्यौपानेलगायतले पनि अभिनय गरेका छन्। काली रानी श्रेष्ठ निर्माता हुन् भने नवीन श्रेष्ठ प्रस्तुतकर्ता छन्। नवीनले यसअघि ‘लाज शरणम्’ निर्माण गरेका थिए।
रंग पत्रकार तथा ‘प्रसाद’का लेखक सुशील पौडेलले फिल्मको कथा लेखेका हुन्। छायांकन श्याम तामाङ, सम्पादन तथा रंग संयोजन सुप्रिम पराजुली, संगीत अर्जुन पोखरेल, साउन्ड डिजाइन उत्तम न्यौपाने, पार्श्व संगीत सुजिल कर्माचार्य र भिएफएक्स पुकार धिमालको हो। फिल्म तिहारको अवसर पारेर कात्तिक २० गतेबाट सिनेमाघरमा आउनेछ।
When you say Eva Giri, what comes to mind? Her dance style or her glamorous look? For many, the answer may be the second, since she often draws attention for her bold outfits. But now, through the film 'Panch Pandav', she is set to surprise audiences by appearing in a completely different avatar from her usual image.
In the poster released on Tuesday, Eva is introduced as Draupadi. Her look, in a red cut blouse and a red saree, recalls Draupadi of the Mahabharata. In the background stand the film's five Pandavas (Harivansh Acharya, Jitu Nepal, Aryan Sigdel, Mahesh Tripathi and Sushil Sitaula), hinting that the story is inspired by the Mahabharata.
Directed by Basanta Nirola, the film also features Deepashree Nirola, Sarita Giri, Binod Neupane, Rama Thapaliya, Prashant Tamrakar and Sita Neupane, among others. Kali Rani Shrestha is the producer, with Naveen Shrestha as presenter. Naveen previously produced 'Laaj Sharanam'.
The story is written by arts journalist and 'Prasad' author Sushil Poudel. Cinematography is by Shyam Tamang, editing and color grading by Supreme Parajuli, music by Arjun Pokharel, sound design by Uttam Neupane, background score by Sujil Karmacharya and VFX by Pukar Dhimal. The film arrives in cinemas on Kartik 20, timed with Tihar.
