गुपचुप सुरु भएको दीपेन्द्र के खनालको ‘श्रीमान् श्रीमती’, खगेन्द्र-सुरक्षाको तेस्रो सहकार्यDipendra K Khanal's 'Shrimaan Shrimati' Shot Quietly, Marks Khagendra-Surakshya's Third Pairing
असोजको पहिलो साताबाट काठमाडौंमा चुपचाप एउटा फिल्मको छायांकन भइरहेको थियो, त्यो हो ‘श्रीमान् श्रीमती’। दीपेन्द्र के. खनालले निर्देशन गरेको यो फिल्म औपचारिक घोषणा नै नगरी सुरु भएको थियो। निर्देशक खनालका अनुसार फिल्मको करिब ९० प्रतिशत छायांकन सकिएको छ र बाँकी काम बढीमा एक सातामा टुंगिनेछ।
पटकथा प्रोडक्सन र टुकी आर्ट्सको प्रस्तुति रहेको फिल्ममा खगेन्द्र लामिछाने र सुरक्षा पन्त मुख्य भूमिकामा छन्। ‘धनपति’ र ‘क्याप्टेन साब’ पछि यो उनीहरूको तेस्रो सहकार्य हो। दुवै निर्देशक खनालका फिल्ममा दोहोरिने कलाकार हुन्, ‘श्रीमान् श्रीमती’ सहित उनीहरूले दीपेन्द्रसँग पाँचवटा फिल्ममा काम गरिसकेका छन्।
फिल्म पारिवारिक कथामा आधारित छ। दर्शकले आफूलाई कथासँग जोड्न सकून् भन्ने प्रयास गरिएको खनालले बताए। उनका अनुसार “दर्शकले मन पराउने कथा दिने हाम्रो प्रयास हो, र त्यसका लागि हामी इमान्दार भएर लागेका छौँ।” इमानदार भएर बनाइएको फिल्म दर्शकको रोजाइमा पर्छ भन्ने उनको विश्वास छ।
दीपेन्द्र भावनात्मक सम्बन्धका कथालाई मिहीन ढंगले प्रस्तुत गर्ने निर्देशकका रूपमा चिनिन्छन्। ‘पशुपति प्रसाद’, ‘आमा’ र ‘चिसो मान्छे’ले उनलाई अब्बल निर्देशकको रूपमा स्थापित गरे। ‘चपली हाइट’ जस्तो बोल्ड र ‘चंगा चेट’ जस्तो हास्यप्रधान फिल्म पनि बनाएकाले उनको छवि भर्सटायल निर्देशकको बनेको छ।
Since the first week of Ashoj, a film has been quietly shooting in Kathmandu: 'Shrimaan Shrimati'. Directed by Dipendra K. Khanal, it began shooting without any formal announcement. According to Khanal, about 90 percent of the shoot is done, and the rest will wrap up within a week at most.
Presented by Patkatha Production and Tuki Arts, the film stars Khagendra Lamichhane and Surakshya Panta in the lead roles. After 'Dhanapati' and 'Captain Saab', this is their third collaboration. Both are regulars in Khanal's films, and with 'Shrimaan Shrimati' they have worked with Dipendra on five films.
The film is based on a family story. Khanal said the aim is for audiences to connect with it. In his words, the effort is to present a story people will like, and the team is working honestly toward that. He believes an honestly made film finds its place in the audience's choice.
Dipendra is known as a director who handles stories of emotional bonds with delicacy. 'Pashupati Prasad', 'Aama' and 'Chiso Manchhe' established him as a top director. He has also made the bold 'Chapali Height' and the comedy 'Changa Chet', which has given him an image as a versatile director.
